LEMON SUGAR COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 tbsp. grated lemon peel
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
3 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Mix together. Chill 1 hour. Form 1 inch balls, roll each in sugar. Bake at 325 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Cool 2 minutes and remove from cookie sheet.
