1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted butter
1/3 c. evaporated milk

Mix this together, reserve 1/2 batter, bake remaining batter in 9 x 13 inch pan (lightly greased) at 350 degrees for 5 minutes.

6 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Remove batter and add these on top.

1 pkg. Kraft caramels
1/3 c. evaporated milk

Melt together and drizzle over bars. Top with reserved batter and bake 15-20 minutes longer.
