MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter, softened
6 eggs, room temperature
3/4 c. milk
4 c. all - purpose flour
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Grease and flour 10 inch tube pan. Combine sugar and butter; cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Alternately add milk and flour, beating well after each addition. Stir in extracts. Bake for 1 hour, 40 minutes.
