MILLION-DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1 lb. butter, softened
6 eggs, at room temp.
4 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Combine sugar and butter, cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beating well after each addition.

Pour batter into well greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until cake tests done. Makes one 10 inch cake.
