MANCHESTER GRAPENUT PUDDING 
1 qt. milk
4 beaten eggs
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. grapenuts
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Bake in a 300°F oven.

Soak grapenuts and sugar in 2 cups milk for 15 minutes. Add other ingredients including the extra milk. Place large baking dish in a pan of warm water. Add pudding mixture.

Bake for 2 hours or until silver knife comes out of the pudding clean. (A native New England recipe)
