RICE PILAF | |
1/4 c. butter 1 med. chopped onion 1 clove garlic, minced 1 c. long grain wild & white rice 1 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced 1 1/2 c. beef consomme Dash of salt Dash of pepper 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce Melt butter and simmer with onions and garlic over low heat for 5 minutes. Add rice and stir until covered with butter mixture. Add rest of ingredients. May be made 2 to 3 days before serving. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes covered. |
