BEST CHOCOLATE SYRUP MICROWAVE
BROWNIES
 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
3 eggs
dash salt
1 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. chocolate-flavored syrup (canned)
2 tsp. vanilla extract
3/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
pecans or walnuts for garnish

Cream together butter and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add salt. Stir in chocolate syrup, flour and vanilla. Add nuts and stir to blend well. Turn into greased and lightly floured 8 inch square microsafe pan or dish. Microwave at HIGH power for about 3 minutes. Let rest for 3 minutes. Microwave at HIGH for another 3 minutes and let rest for 3 minutes. Finally microwave at HIGH power for 2 more minutes or until batter is set and done to your liking. Let rest in pan for a couple of minutes or until almost cool. Cut into squares. Remove from pan and garnish with nuts or powdered sugar.

Remember: shield top corners of dish with foil triangles to assure even cooking and turn dish a half turn after each 3 minutes if your microwave oven is not a rotating one.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
