MICROWAVE CHOCOLATE SYRUP 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

In a 1 quart casserole, mix sugar, flour, cocoa, butter and hot water. Cook 4 to 5 minutes until mixture boils and thickens enough to coat a spoon. Add milk, vanilla and salt. Continue cooking for 2 or 3 minutes longer until sauce is hot.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
