1 c. cooking oil
1 3/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted self-rising flour
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. pared chopped apples
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla

Heat oven to 300 degrees. Grease baking pan, either 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan or tube pan. Beat together oil, sugar and eggs. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn into prepared pan and bake 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let cake cook in pan.
