HOT DOG SAUCE 
1 lb. lean hamburger, cooked, crumbled and drained
1 lg. green pepper, chopped
1 garlic clove, finely minced
1 lg. onion chopped
1 c. water
1 sm. can tomato paste and 2 cans water
1 pkg. chili mix (such as McCormick's or Durkee)
2 tbsp. chili powder

Add green pepper, onion and garlic to ground beef in a 2 quart saucepan. Add 1 cup water and simmer 5 to 10 minutes, until pepper and onion are tender. Add remaining ingredients, 1 at a time, stirring after each addition. Simmer until thick, serve over hot dogs. Freezes well.
