WINE CUSTARD OR WEINSCHAUM 
2 c. dry white wine
1/2 c. water
4 unbeaten eggs
1/2 c. sugar

Place in top of double boiler the wine and water. Add eggs and sugar. Beat these ingredients vigorously with a wire whisk. Cook until custard thickens. Beat it constantly. Serve hot or cold. Serves 6.
