RED CHILI ONION RINGS 
1 extra large onion
milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 tbsp. chili powder
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. lemon and herbs
1 tsp. garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. cumin powder
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. golden cornmeal

Slice onion 1/8-inch thick; soak rings in milk 1/2 hour, then dip in egg. Mix all dry ingredients and seasonings in breading tray. Coat each ring then place rings in hot oil. Pan fry or deep fry about 45 seconds until golden brown. Fry in small batches for best results. Transfer fried rings to paper towels before serving.
