BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. stew beef, cut into 1 inch cubes
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. water
1/2 c. A1 steak sauce
1/2 c. sour cream
Hot cooked noodles

In skillet, brown beef in 2 teaspoons of butter. Transfer meat to plate. In same skillet add remaining butter and cook mushrooms and onion until tender. Return meat to skillet. Add water and steak sauce. Heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 50 to 60 minutes until meat is tender. Stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles. Makes 4 servings.
