BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 lg. onion
1 jar mushroom caps
1/2 pt. sour cream
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sherry, optional

Melt butter in a large frying pan. Chop onion and saute in butter until tender. Remove from skillet. Using the same pan, brown the ground beef. Drain fat. Add all the remaining ingredients except sour cream. Simmer 10 minutes before serving time. Add the sour cream. Serve over wide egg noodles. Serves 4-6.
