TINA'S BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 1/2 lb. sirloin or tenderloin, trimmed, cut in 1 x 1/4 inch strips
3/4 c. diced onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
1/4 c. mushrooms, sliced
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. beef stock
1 c. sour cream

SAUCE:

5 tsp. sherry
1/4 c. chili sauce
2 tsp. flour

Brown lightly in butter, onion, garlic and mushrooms. Add beef, brown. Add beef stock and dash of pepper. Mix in sauce ingredients. Cover and simmer 1 - 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally. Before serving, stir in sour cream. Serve over noodles or rice.

Serves 4.
