MEAT AND SPAGHETTI IN FRYING PAN 
1/2 lb. ground round beef
2 tbsp. fat
1/2 lb. sm. onion, sliced
1 c. uncooked spaghetti, broken into 1" lengths
2 c. tomatoes (1 lb. can) & sauce
1 c. tomato catsup

Place fat in skillet. When fat is hot spread meat over the surface of the pan. Brown meat on one side, then the other. Add remaining ingredients in the order listed. Cover skillet with a tight fitting cover.

Have heat on full until steam escapes from under the cover. Then turn heat low and let simmer without stirring for 40 minutes. Instead of the tomato catsup, I prefer to use 1 cup of spaghetti sauce and just a little water.
