PECAN PIE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
3 eggs, slightly beaten
3/4 c. white Karo
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Beat eggs slightly, add sugar, Karo, salt, vanilla. Melt butter and blend well. Add pecans or walnuts last, pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 40-45 minutes in 375 degree oven.
