Salad:

4 bunches broccoli flowerets
1 pkg. bacon, cooked and cut into pieces
1/2 c. purple onion, sliced thin
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
3-4 boiled eggs, cut (optional)

Dressing:

1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar

Mix dressing ingredients together and let stand 2 hours. Add dressing to salad just before serving.
