ASPARAGUS CHEESE CASSEROLE 
2 c. cooked asparagus
3 slices toast, cut in cubes
3/4 c. grated cheese (Velveeta is good)
1 beaten egg
1 c. milk
3/4 tsp. salt
Pepper
1 tbsp. melted butter

Place 1/2 of asparagus in bottom of greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Add 1/2 of toast cubes and 1/2 of cheese - repeat. combine egg, milk and seasoning. Pour over all ingredients. Top with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
