BROWNIE PUDDING 
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar, granulated
2 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. melted fat
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. cocoa
1 3/4 c. hot water

Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa. Add milk, vanilla and shortening and mix until smooth, (add nut meats if desired). Pour into greased cake pan. Mix brown sugar, cocoa, and water and pour over batter. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees) for 40 to 50 minutes.
