BREAD PUDDING WITH SAUCE 
2 c. milk
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
4 c. cubed French bread
1/2 c. raisins
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. shredded coconut
Pinch of salt

Scald milk. Melt butter in milk and stir in sugar. Pour over bread and raisins, let stand about 15 minutes. Add eggs, salt, nutmeg, vanilla and coconut. Bake in well greased baking pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Serve with sauce.
