MARY'S BUTTERCREAM ICING 
2 tsp. meringue powder
2 tbsp. warm water
1 c. Crisco shortening
1/4 c. butter, room temperature
1/4 c. milk, room temperature
2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. butter flavor extract

Beat meringue powder and water until foamy. Add Crisco, butter and mix well. Slowly add milk and beat until well blended. Add powdered sugar and beat until creamy. Add flavorings and beat well.
