CARNE ESADA 
3 lb. round steak
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1 clove garlic
1 sm. onion
1 lb. tomatoes (1/4 can) or 8 oz. tomato sauce
Cumin (cominos)
2 - 2 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 c. water

Stir meat occasionally while browning. Add flour to meat after it starts to brown. Add 1 1/2 cups water to browned meat, the garlic and onion that have been ground together and add tomatoes. Cover, let simmer for 45 to 60 minutes. Add salt, stir occasionally, add more water if necessary. Season with cumin (2 shakes, more is needed to taste). Serve on warmed flour tortillas, with chopped onions, green peppers. Top with sour cream or plain yogurt.
