CHERRY CRUNCH 
1 3/4 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. shortening
2 cans cherry pie filling
1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
Red food coloring

Put cherry filling in the bottom of pie or cake pan. Cover with mix. Red food coloring helps to brighten the color of the cherries. Makes a quick dessert. Bake in 375 degree oven.
