OVEN BBQ POT ROAST 
3 - 3 1/2 lb. chuck roast

BBQ SAUCE:

1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/3 c. vinegar or water
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 lemon, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard

Cover roast with water and simmer, covered 1 1/2 hours over low heat. Prepare BBQ sauce from above ingredients. When meat is tender, drain and place in a baking dish. Add the BBQ sauce, coating the meat well on all sides and cover with lid or foil. Roast at 300 degrees for an additional 45 to 60 minutes.
