SHOO-FLY CAKE 
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 c. (2 sticks) butter
1/2 c. green label molasses
1/2 c. Karo
2 c. hot water
2 tsp. baking soda

Mix sugar, flour and butter with pastry blender. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Mix liquids together. Add dry ingredients with mixer. Pour into a 9x13 inch pan and sprinkle the cup of crumbs on top; grease and flour the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
