CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter with sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla. Combine flour, salt, baking soda, blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and chopped nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto greased baking sheets.

HINT: Cool cookie sheet in freezer for about 2 to 3 minutes, then spray with butter flavor Pam, then drop teaspoon of mixture.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. 8 dozen 2 inch cookies. Joshua A. Cordova likes to bake his favorite cookies.
