OATMEAL CAKE 
CAKE:

2 eggs
1/2 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. light brown sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. oatmeal
1 1/2 c. hot water

TOPPING:

1/4 lb. butter, melted
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 c. light brown sugar
1 c. coconut
1 egg

CAKE: First mix oatmeal and hot water and set aside. Blend eggs, oil, and sugars. Add dry ingredients alternately with oatmeal mixture. Put into buttered 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

TOPPING: Blend all ingredients. Spread over cake and return to oven for approximately an additional 20 minutes.
