CREAMY CHOCOLATE FROSTING | |
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter 1 1/2 (3 oz.) bars Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate baking bar 2 1/2 c. confectioners' sugar, divided 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract 1/4 tsp. salt 1 egg 2-3 tbsp. milk In small saucepan, combine butter and Nestle's semi-sweet chocolate baking bar. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer to large bowl. Cool to room temperature. Add 1 cup confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract and salt; beat until creamy. beat in egg. Gradually add remaining confectioners' sugar alternately with milk; beat until smooth. Makes 2 cups frosting. |
