HONOLULU REFRESHER (1932) | |
1/2 c. sugar 1 c. water 1 c. strong tea 1 c. unsweetened pineapple juice 1/3 c. orange juice 3/4 c. lemon juice (fresh, frozen or canned) 2 c. chilled pale dry ginger ale Orange slices & mint sprigs Make simple syrup by boiling sugar and water 5 minutes. Set aside. Combine tea and fruit juices. Chill. Just before serving, add ginger ale and syrup to taste. Garnish with orange slices and mint. Makes 6 servings. Note: If you have any ginger ale left in bottle, pour into refrigerator tray and freeze. Use ginger ale cubes to keep drink cool and zippy. Can double to triple to suit number of servings desired. |
