COTTAGE CHEESE PIE | |
3/4 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 tbsp. flour 1 c. creamy cottage cheese 1 c. rich milk (half and half) Combine sugar, flour, and salt. Gradually add to cottage cheese. Blend well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Stir in milk and flavoring. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Cover edges of pie crust with narrow strips of aluminum foil. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes. Remove strips of foil when middle of pie appears done. |
