7 LAYERED SALAD 
1 head lettuce
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. chopped green pepper
1 medium chopped onion
1 pkg. frozen green peas
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

Arrange ingredients in a 9 x 13 dish. Beginning with lettuce. Do not cook peas. Cover top layer with mayonnaise. Sprinkle evenly with sugar. Refrigerate 24 hours (uncovered). Just before serving sprinkle on cheddar cheese. Better the longer it sets.
