APRICOT BARS 
1 c. sugar
2 stick butter or Parkay
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. pecans or almonds, chopped fine
1 1/2 c. apricot preserves

Cream sugar with butter and add egg yolks. Add flour and nuts. Mix ingredients together and press 3/4 of the mixture into a greased Pyrex pan 12x8x2.

Spread preserves over mixture being careful that preserves do not touch sides of pan. Crumble remaining mixture over top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool and cut into bars.
