THIN CRISPY COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1 1/2 c. quick cooking oatmeal

Cream the butter, butter and sugar. Add flour and oatmeal. Roll into small balls. Flatten with glass dipped twice in flour. (Don't press too thin.) Bake in 325 degree oven for 10 minutes. When cold, sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
