BUTTERNUT POUND CAKE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
3 c. flour
1 sm. can of Pet milk and add water to make a cup
2 sticks of butter
5 eggs, large
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flavoring (butternut)

Cream shortening, sugar, salt and eggs one at a time, add flour and milk alternately ending with flour. Fold in flavoring by hand start at 325 degrees. Bake 1 hour, 45 minutes start in cold oven.
