2 qts. half and half
2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla
4 c. whipping cream

In a large bowl, combine half and half and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Stir in vanilla and whipping cream. Pour into ice cream canister. Freeze in ice cream maker according to manufacturer's directions. Makes about 4 quarts.
