SAUSAGE TOPPING MACARONI 
1/2 (8 oz.) box elbow macaroni
1 1/4 c. condensed tomato soup
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 link sweet sausages
1/4 c. cubed American cheese

Cook the macaroni in boiling water until tender, drain and rinse. Combine the soup, water, chopped onion, green pepper in saucepan and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Brown the sausages well on each side in a skillet. Fold macaroni and cheese into the sauce. Turn into a buttered casserole dish, arrange sausages over the macaroni. Bake in a moderate oven until sausages are cooked and mixture is hot and bubbly.
