DOUG'S FAVORITE SOUP | |
5 huge potatoes 2 bunches broccoli 1 yellow onion 1 lb. processed psuedo-cheese junk (Velveeta) 2 cans cream of anything soup (mushroom or celery) 1 pt. half & half light cream Dice the vegetables, and put them in a big pot with just enough water to cover them. Boil vigorously for 10 minutes. (Make that 20 minutes if you no longer have your natural teeth.) Turn the heat down. Add the (so-called) cheese to the now-softened vegetables, and stir until all the cheese is dissolved. (You can speed up this dissolving process by dicing the cheese and/or softening it in a microwave first.) Add the soup and cheese. Stir constantly and don't use high heat, unless you enjoy cleaning brown, crusty junk off the bottom of your pot. |
