CHOW CHOW 
2 gals. green tomatoes
5 or 6 green peppers
3 cucumbers
6 onions
6 c. sugar
6 sticks cinnamon
1 bunch celery
1 red pepper
1 med. head cabbage
2 handfuls salt
4 c. vinegar
3/4 tsp. celery seed

Grind all vegetables or process in food processor as you would cole slaw. Add salt. Let drain in a cloth bag 3 to 4 hours or overnight. (I usually hang on a clothesline!)

Combine sugar, vinegar, cinnamon, and celery seed. Bring to a boil and then pour over the well drained vegetables. Seal in canner.

We love this on pork or with biscuits for breakfast.
