OLE VIRGINA CHOW CHOW 
1 1/2 qts. (6 c.) cabbage
1 1/2 qts. (6 c.) green tomatoes
2 bunches of celery
1 1/2 qt. (6 c.) onions
3 red peppers

Combine above ingredients then add:

Let stand overnight, drain well then combine: 3 pts. sugar 1/2 c. mustard seed

Cook half an hour. Five minutes before removing from heat add: 1/2 tsp. ground cloves

Seal in jars. Chill before serving.
