UNCLE WILLIE'S COLORED POTATOES 
5 med. potatoes
3 carrots
1 tsp. butter
2 tbsp. cream

Peel and boil potatoes and carrots. Throw in a teaspoon of salt to bring out the flavor. When potatoes and carrots are tender (about 30 minutes) drain off water, mash until there are no lumps. Add butter and cream. Serve hot with brown gravy. Potatoes are bright and pretty and attract the child's appetite as well as yours.
