SMOTHER FRIED CHICKEN 
1 fryer
1 stick butter
Salt and pepper
Flour
Cornstarch

Coat cut up fryer with salt, pepper, and flour. Melt stick of butter; brown chicken in butter. Take chicken out of skillet, add cornstarch or flour to thicken gravy and stir. Add enough water to cover chicken. Cover pan and simmer 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
