LAYERED SALAD 
1 layer chopped green peppers
1 layer lettuce
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 layer celery, chopped
1 layer sliced boiled eggs
1 can peas, drained, uncooked
2 c. mayonnaise
2 tbsp. brown sugar
Shredded cheese to cover
Bacon bits on top

Cut up green pepper and lettuce and put in salad bowl. Layer the remaining ingredients. Refrigerate 24 hours before serving. Looks pretty in a glass bowl, when all the layers can be seen. When serving, be sure to dip through each layer.
