Make pie crust and put into 9 x 13 pan. Crush 1 cup corn flakes and spread over crust. Combine apples (enough to fill pan), 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 tablespoon nutmeg or mace, and 1 1/2 tablespoons tapioca; put mixture on top of corn flakes. Sprinkle lemon juice over apples; pat pieces of butter over apples. Cover with crust.
Beat egg white until frothy and spread over top crust. Bake at 350 degrees until done. While hot, frost with 1 cup powdered sugar mixed with milk and vanilla. Drizzle over top crust. Very good.
