WHEAT BRAN MUFFINS | |
1 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. wheat bran 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. buttermilk or milk 1/4 c. molasses 2-4 tablespoons sugar, honey, or agave syrup (optional, to your taste) 1/4 c. vegetable oil or melted butter 1 egg Raisins, nuts, and dates (optional) Combine all dry ingredients. Combine all liquid ingredients. Blend these mixtures together. Place in paper-lined muffin tins. Bake in moderate oven (375 degrees) for 15 minutes. |
