MEAT CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. hamburger
1 med. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter
1 c. carrots, shredded
3 c. cabbage, shredded
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 jar (16 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. chopped chives
1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese

In medium skillet cook hamburger with onion until meat loses pink color. In 2 quart buttered baking dish layer the carrots and 1/2 of cabbage. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add meat mixture, press down slightly. Add remaining cabbage. To spaghetti sauce add Worcestershire and chives. Pour over top of casserole. Cover bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until cabbage is soft. Add cheese on top. Bake uncovered for about 5 minutes until cheese is melted.
