BROWNIES FOR A CROWD 
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 lb. can chocolate syrup (1 1/2 c.)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

TOPPING:

6 tbsp. butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
6 tbsp. milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips

Cream together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir in chocolate syrup. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Stir into batter along with 1/2 cup nuts. Pour into well-greased 15 1/2 x 10 x 1 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 22 minutes.

Combine 6 tablespoons butter, milk and 1 cup sugar in a saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Stir until mixture thickens slightly. Spread over cooled brownies. Cut. 60 brownies.
