BROWNIES FOR A CROWD 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. can chocolate syrup (1 1/2 c.)
1 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped nuts
6 tbsp. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla; blend well. Stir in chocolate syrup. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; pour into well-greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 jelly pan. Bake in 350 degree oven 22 minutes or until done. Cool in pan on rack.

Simply the best brownie recipe out there. Well, at least out of the dozens I have tried. I add slightly more salt (kosher) since there is nothing quite as tasty as the combo of slightly salt and sweet. I have made the full recipe as well as halving it. It always turns out the best.
