KUCHEN 
2 or 3 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 2 c. lukewarm water
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. softened butter
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
6 c. flour

Mix all together real well. Knead 5 to 10 minutes. Put in refrigerator overnight.

Next day, spread dough on 2 cookie sheets. Let rise double in size. Make deep ridges in it (4) and spread in cherry or any kind of pie filling. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.

TOPPING:

2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 tbsp. flour

Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Spread over top of pie filling when kuchen is baked.
