3 tbsp. butter
6 tbsp. brown sugar
6 tbsp. white sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk, undiluted
9 lg. marshmallows
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. confectioner's sugar

Mix together the sugars and milk. Boil 2 minutes. Add marshmallows. When they have melted, add vanilla and sifted confectioner's sugar. Beat until the right consistency to spread on cake.
